Road to Round Top Cotton Pottery Kit with Pattern

Make the Road to Round Top, Twisted Top Cotton Pottery bowl with this fun kit!  It has everything you need to get started, you just need your sewing machine, scissors, a couple straight pins, your thread of choice and a piece of scrap paper!

This kit includes:

• 45 pieces Pre-Cut strips with Road to Round Top Fabrics and AGF Pure Solids
• 43′ Rope
• Pattern for the Twisted Top Cotton Pottery Bowl
• Glue Stick
• Clothespin

If you’re unsure of what thread to use… I used Glide thread, in First Kiss, in the top thread and bobbin for this bowl.  Thread is not included in the kit but is available here.

This is a quick project, it will take you a couple hours to make.  Cotton Pottery makes a wonderful gift (turn it into a gift basket!) and it has many purposes throughout the home.  Cotton Pottery is made by wrapping fabric around clothesline/rope and then sewn together using a zig-zag stitch. It is totally washable. Don’t be afraid, throw it in the washer, reshape, and lay it out to dry.
