Long Arm Quilting
Do you have a stack of quilt tops that need to be quilted?
Hire Me!
I would absolutely LOVE to quilt for you. I can’t wait to see what you’ve made… and just so you know, it is going to be stunning when it’s done!
I am not All About the Baste (anyone else hear Meghan Trainor singing? ). Basting? Nah, handing it to me is so much easier on your back... and fingers! I’ll hand it back to you trimmed and ready for binding… but I can do that too if you want.
A quilt is an investment. You invested your time, your hands, your heart and your mind and you should finish it with a quality quilting service to keep it whole for years to come.
I quilt on an Avante 18” longarm machine with Pro-Stitcher. Handi Quilter is one of the largest quilting machine manufacturers out there and the machines are made right here in the United States. With a bunch of E2E (Edge to Edge means the pattern will be uniform over the whole quilt) patterns to choose from, we can find something that will bring your quilt to life. If we can’t find something in my library – I know where we can look

Frequently Asked Questions
My current turnaround time is 1 week. I can rush any quilt for $15 and have it done in 1-2 days.
Press your seams on quilt top and backing. Make sure your backing and batting are at least 3” bigger on all four sides of your quilt. These extra inches allow for quilting without machine/side clamp interference as well as shifting of the quilt top.) So if your top is 70” x 80” the backing & batting need to be at least 76” x 86”
If your backing arrives and it is too small to properly attach to the quilt frame, I would be happy to add the extra fabric needed, at cost, in addition to $10/seam.
If your top is pieced along the edge (no border), I would recommend sewing at 1/8” stitch around the entire outside to keep your seams from separating.
Trim any loose threads. If you have a light colored background, darker threads will show through.
I will piece your backing for $10/seam. I will not pattern match because I feel this is best done by you to get the desired look (it’s not my forte).
Absolutely! I would LOVE to bind your quilt!! Binding (aside from watching the machine work) is my favorite part of quilting – maybe because it’s the last step before you get to actually enjoy the quilt?
Services offered and prices for each can be found under Pricing, above.
I can accept quilt tops up to 110″ wide (on the shortest side).
Clearly mark the top with a safety pin or painters tape as an indicator. Same with your backing if that is directional as well.
I will send you an invoice via email and payment can be made by check, PayPal, Venmo. If in person, you can pay by cash, check or credit card. If paying by check, I will not mail your quilt until your check clears the bank.
If you are shipping your quilt, you are responsible for shipping to and from the destination. I am located in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. I will ship quilts at the lowest possible cost using UPS or USPS. Prior to sending your final invoice, I will price both and let you choose your preferred shipping method.
